By accessing or using Laser Show Studio at lasershowstudio.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Laser Show Studio is a browser-based ILDA laser show editor that allows users to create, edit, animate, and export .ild files for use with laser projectors.
To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
All users have access to the free tier, which includes the full editor, all tools, 2 saved projects, 10 ILDA exports per day, and 20 starter effects from the library. No payment information is required.
The Pro subscription is available at $4 per month or $36 per year. Pro includes unlimited ILDA exports, 20 saved projects, 50 starter effects, priority support, early access to new features, and a Pro badge in the community.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes do not affect the current billing period.
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.
You retain full ownership of all laser show files, projects, and creative content you produce using Laser Show Studio. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your creations.
By uploading content to public areas of the Service (such as the community gallery or forum), you grant Laser Show Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Service. This license exists solely to operate and improve the community features. You may remove your public content at any time, which terminates this license (except for copies already distributed or cached).
You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you upload and that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation.
Laser Show Studio is a software tool for creating laser show files. We do not manufacture, sell, or control laser projectors, DACs, or any physical laser hardware.
You are solely responsible for the safe operation of any laser equipment used with files created in Laser Show Studio. This includes, but is not limited to:
Laser Show Studio provides no warranties regarding the safety or suitability of exported files for any specific laser hardware or venue. By using the Service, you acknowledge that laser equipment can cause serious eye injury or other harm if operated improperly, and you assume full responsibility for its safe use.
The Laser Show Studio software, website, branding, documentation, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Laser Show Studio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The ILDA file format is an industry standard. Our implementation of ILDA import and export does not grant any license to third-party patents or trademarks associated with the ILDA standard.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service or its source code without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Laser Show Studio and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@lasershowstudio.com. We recommend exporting your projects before requesting account closure.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice. In cases of severe or repeated violations, termination may be immediate and permanent.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized usage data for analytics purposes but will delete your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify registered users by email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service and close your account.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Laser Show Studio regarding your use of the Service.
